Meta and Azamara Quest

Popped to Cowes this evening to see what was about and to get away from all the crap that is going on. I knew Azamara Quest was leaving at 1700 but, when I got to Cowes just after 1600, there was a nice Brucie bonus in the form of container ship Meta, which was on her way out of Southampton.

Azamara Quest was on time, in fact a few minutes early, leaving Southampton. Pretty little ship. She was originally one of eight sister ships built for Renaissance Cruises and had the imaginative name of R Seven.

Then it was back to the ICU before returning home at 9pm. There's no change in mum's condition, things remain much the same. It's a horrible feeling of limbo at the moment and all we can do is wait, which is the worst thing as no-one knows what's going to happen.

Thanks to Patricia Dempsey for keeping me updated via text when the ships were moving, over the weekend. The 3G/H/E signal at Egypt Point is non-existent but, with perseverance and not a little swearing, I can just about send and receive texts.
